Tooth wear is becoming an increasingly common problem in dentistry.  Too many options for treatment can  lead to confusion and apprehension.
Making the correct restorative decisions is key to success. 

This blended learning programme aims to develop GDP's and Dental Therapists theoretical knowledge and technical skills. .

 You will learn:

  • Diagnosis and management of Children and Adolescence
  • Diagnosis and management of Adults
  • Practical considerations of clinical occlusion in relation to the treatment of the worn dentition
  • How to determine which cases require active restorative intervention  
  • How to plan for the management of wear cases                              

You will gain practical experience in:

  • Anterior and posterior restorations
  • Preparation design, material choice
  • Bonding techniques

  A total of 6 Verifiable CPD hours are be credited to this course
