Qualified as a dental nurse in 1974 and has worked in General and Community Dental Services. She has qualifications in management, life coaching and counselling as well as holding teaching and assessment qualifications. In 1995 she was one of the founding members of the British Dental Practice Managers Association (Now known as ADAM)

Glenys is a twice-published author and has contributed a chapter to the Dental Masters Volume 2. She has written a range of non-clinical BTEC dental qualifications at levels 3-5. In 2009 she was awarded the BDA Certificate of Merit for services to Dentistry. She is currently Editor-in-Chief for Dental Nursing Journal.

Within her work in education Glenys has delivered dental and non-dental training in Further Education Colleges and is an ILM Approved Trainer. She holds assessment and verification qualifications and is currently managing Director of Glenys Bridges Practice Pathways Ltd.

Glenys believes that the future of the dental profession lies within teamwork and the collaboration of all members of the dental team to provide high quality patient centred dental care.
