This course offers skills development for the role of Reception Lead which enables experienced receptionists to keep ahead of requirements  and develop a range of supervisory management skills, including audit and evaluation, so as to ensure that the resources that are used in reception services realise an excellent return on investment.

This Reception Lead programme covers ten three-hour sessions- 30 study hours delivered in webinars and/or workshops leading to the development of supervisory management and audit skills.

Following on from this course, you can then go on to complete further studies in reception supervision, or if a more advance level of management skills are preferred, you can progress to the Level 3 Certificate in Practical Dental Practice Management.


D&TA Award- Reception Lead Training

Each learner begins their programme with a learning styles assessment to enable them to work with a tutor to select a learning programme best suited to their needs. This will involve choosing from computer based distance learning, workshop and webinars formats for the delivery of course content.

The minimum age requirement for this course is 18 years.

Students must have:

  • Be self-motivated
  • Excellent level of English. You must be able to read, write and understand English fluently. Students may be asked to sit an entry test. The results of this will determine your progression through the course

You will need a computer with internet access to study this course as the study material and activities are accessible via a web browser.
